Emily Gauthier joined the Hills Church in September of 2006 as the director of early childhood music. Since then she has enjoyed sharing music with the youngest members of the congregation. Emily has worked in various music education programs since 2000. While perusing her masters degree, she taught with Family Music Makers in Wellesley and Boston. Emily also ran an afterschool musical theater program. She was a soloist at Melrose Highlands Congregational Church. Emily has a degree in Music from Susquehanna University and studied voice at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. She also has an MBA from Suffolk University. During the week, Emily runs the Center for History and Economics at Harvard University. Emily lives in Arlington with her husband, Charlie, and three daughters, Sophia, Gabriella, and Ally. When time allows, Emily enjoys performing as a soloist and in local musical theater productions.
