TUESDAY MORNING MEDITATION…THE VALUE OF SILENCE
In his daily meditation, author and pastor Henri Nouwen wrote, “Silence means rest, rest of body and mind in which we become available for him whose heart is greater than ours…Silence is that moment in which we not only stop the discussion with others but also the inner discussions with ourselves, in which we can breathe in freely and accept our identity as a gift.”
The silence of those gathered to meditate on Tuesday mornings is about resting body and mind – and in that hour, finding a peace in just being ourselves, just as we are.
Please join us for Tuesday Morning Meditation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the Reception Room at the church and find out how the silence of this ancient practice can lead to a sense of healing and wholeness on your faith journey.
Come as you are able, whenever you can…we look forward to seeing you then.
