About the Retreat:
We are thrilled to welcome Kendall Vanderslice as our speaker this year. Kendall is a baker, writer, and founder of Edible Theology, whose work explores how God can meet us in the kitchen and at the table. Her innovative Bake & Pray™ method blends baking bread with spiritual practice, emphasizing rest, curiosity, and joy.
During the Retreat, we’ll interweave bread baking, Bible study, discussion, and small group breakouts, so that each participant leaves with:
- A fully baked loaf of bread made with Kendall’s guidance
- Fresh insights from Scripture
- Time with God in a relaxed, reflective space
- Deeper connections and new friendships
Whether you are a sourdough pro or intimidated by yeast, this day is designed to nourish both your body and your heart.
All women of Hills Church are warmly invited, and friends are welcome too! The deadline for registration is Saturday, March 7, one week prior to the retreat.
