Church Sunday School Teachers for the upcoming 2019/2020 school year
Wellesley Hills Congregational Church Sunday School is seeking teachers to join our team and help lead our thriving children’s ministry program on Sunday mornings. We are seeking teachers with a heart for the creative development of faith formation programs for young children and youth. Our Church School program runs September through May and is focused on teaching the stories of the Christian faith through the use of storytelling (Godly Play), wonder, art, science and games.
Now filling multiple openings for the 2019-20 school year (September – May) in grades kindergarten through sixth grade.

Seeking Church Sunday School Teachers
Are you passionate about sharing Christian values with children? Wellesley Hills Congregational church Sunday School is seeking teachers for its workshop rotation classes and 5th & 6th grade class. We teach Bible stories through Art, Drama and games, while also teaching UCC culture, and progressive values to children in Grades K through 9 grade. Seeking teachers (i.e. recent Ed school grads, after school teachers, folks with camp experience) with knowledge of Christian faith and culture, and active project-based learning styles. Classes meet approximately three Sunday mornings each month with the first Sunday of the month flexible time, September through May.
Now filling openings for the 2018-19 school year (September – May) in grades kindergarten through sixth grade.
Minimum Education Required: College attendee with High School Diploma seeking further education in related field or a 4-year degree.
Minimum age requirement: 18
Hours: 2 hours’ prep time (at home or church) plus Sunday morning 9:00 am – 12:00 pm in the classroom.
Compensation: $100.00 per week.
