If you could improve your child’s empathy, appreciation, assertiveness, focus, mindfulness, acceptance awareness, perseverance, confidence, and academic success, which would help them deal with a number of emotions, including sadness, anger and anxiety…would you?
Coping skills and knowledge strengthen children’s ability overcome challenges and crises, making them more able balance the weight of life’s worries.
The Children and Youth Ministry has teamed up with Adolescent Wellness, Inc. (AWI) to bring Dr. Nadja Reilly’s workshop, Caring for the Emotional Wellness of our Children,to our church parents and teachers. Participants in this workshop will learn problem solving skills and other tips to share with children in their care. Participants will also learn about what signs to look for to determine if a child needs more support for their emotional health and development.
This workshop is intended for parents, teachers of church school and grandparents alike. Childcare available.
