In a time when Gallup polls show a decline in church attendance, come explore with us how the Christian church began – as told in Luke’s The Acts of the Apostles. This book is filled with wonderful and inspirational stories: Some may be familiar to you (e.g. the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost), and some may be less familiar (e.g. the guy sitting in the window who fell asleep then fell out the window while listening to Paul’s interminable sermon … hmm!). We will ground our study on literary and historical analysis, but we’d like to hear your point of view. Come be surprised at how God’s Living Word is still speaking to our church and to our own lives today.
