What do you do with a difficult text in the Bible? How do you deal with texts that critique wealth, ban divorce, mention hell, say women cannot speak in church, or condemn homosexuality? This small group will look in depth at different approaches to biblical interpretation, including more conservative approaches. There will be a particular focus on the anti-gay passages as we grow into being an Open and Affirming Church. Come with your questions and skepticism. It will be a fun journey!
