Learn About the African Indian Alliance
Join us on March 26th after worship in the Reception room, refreshments and snacks will be provided.
We invite you to join members of the African Indian Alliance organization to learn more about our mission and educational advocacy of the Siddi community in India. The Siddi people are Indians of African descent and have been living in the southwestern state of Karnataka for hundreds of years, and face many challenges socio economically and educationally based on their race. AIA works with partners in rural villages to advocate for Siddi and other poor communities to advance their wellbeing and access to education. Please join us to hear stories, see photographs, and learn about our ongoing work and further goals.
