Women’s Retreat
“Friendship through the Generations – a Hills Church Women’s Retreat”
The relationship between Ruth and Naomi is one of the most beautiful examples of love and loyalty in the Bible. Plan to come to the Hills Church women’s retreat on March 1st to learn more about these two women. The retreat will give you a chance to relax, self reflect, connect with nature and spend time with old friends while making new friends. The retreat will take place at the Sanctuary at Woodville on March 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
I’m looking forward to the Women’s Retreat!
When I think about a Women’s Retreat, I remember lines from a song I learned in Girl Scouts: “Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold.” I am looking forward to making some new friends, and deepening relationships already formed in the context of our church: through choir, working together on ministry teams, or committees. The retreat is a chance to do that, and much more. We’ll worship and pray together, laugh and sing together, find God in nature and in each other, all while stepping away from our daily duties for a while. I hope you will join Rev. Christine, and a group of warm and welcoming women of all ages at Woodville Sanctuary, on March 1! ~Laurie Stewart Otten
